 On behalf of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), I would like to sincerely invite you to participate in a privileged event of the world halal food industry – the 2008 China (Qinghai) International Halal Food and Products Fair.
The global market value for trade in halal food and products is estimated at USD 2.1 trillion a year. With a 20 million Muslim population and a 1200 year history of halal food production, halal food and products have been a life style in China and a part of Chinese culture. The Fair will present the world exhibitors and visitors China’s manufacturing edge of halal food industry and its huge demand for halal-certified products and services.
The first China (Qinghai) International Halal Food and Products Fair was held in November 2007. 200 Exhibitors and 110 thousand visitors from 22 countries participated in the 3-day Fair with a contract amount of 196 million USD. The exhibition area reached 18,000 square meters.
The fair is not only a showcase of exhibitors, but also a platform between sellers and buyers, manufacturers and brands, and technology and investment. Seminars, matchmaking business meetings and other valued-added business events will be held during the fair.
