The National Huzhu North Mountain Forest Park

Located at the Huzhu Mountain of Qinghai Province, it is one of the country's AAAA scenic spots. That is a world of endless river flowing, green pines and cypresses, beautiful mountain flowers and wildings. In the park, the primitive zoology is kept completely. The gorge is deep and the cliff is steep. It has various rare scenes, including "tiger mouth" and "Old Nick hole". Meantime, it contains the romantic feeling of Tu ethnic minority group and has a long history of folk-custom culture. It is not only a famous primitive forest and scenic spots, but also an ideal place for scientific review, exploration and green shower.

It is the original place of the song "at the remote place" which makes this area well-known to the tourists. Located in Haiyan County, it is one of the most beautiful grasslands in China. The golden seasons of it is July, August and September, when the sheep and battle are feed in the grassland.

The Riyue Mountain is on the east of Qinghai Lake, and 40 kilometers away from Huangyuan County. The average altitude of the mountain is 3500 meters. Its original name is Russet Ridge because the soil of top of the mountain is russet. It is said that Princess Wencheng left Chang'an for Tubo to marry Songtsan Gombo, King of Tubo. On her arrival at the Russet Ridge, the princess stopped for a rest. She was missing her hometown so much that she took out and looked into the Sun & Moon Mirror given by her mother when the departure. The charming sight of Chang'an was reflected in the mirror. She was so excited that the mirror fell off from her hands and broke into two pieces. Later on, people changed the name of the mountain from the Russet Ridge to the Riyue (Sun & Moon) Mountain, in memory of the princess.

Taer Monastery (Kumbum Monastery, "Kumbum" is from Tibetan language) Kumbum Monastery, the birthplace of Tsong Kha-pa, the founder of the yellow sect, is one of the six major lamaseries of yellow sect in Tibetan Buddhism. It is a garden-like architectural complex of blending Han and Tibetan architecture. Its main buildings are Eight Pagodas, the Grand Golden-tiled Hall, the Small Golden-tiled Hall, the Grand scripture Hall, the Longevity Hall and the Palace of Panchen Lama. The Eight Pagodas were set up in line in honor of the eight virtues in Sakyamunis' life. What's more, butter sculptures, embossed embroidery and fresco are claimed as three wonders of art in the Lamasery. Besides, four grand Buddhist rituals are given respectively in January, April, June and September in each lunar year. It is the Scenic spot of national level AAAA.
