Introduction

The 2012 China (Qinghai) International Halal Food and Products Fair

　　The 2012 China (Qinghai) International Halal Food and Products Fair (CIHFP2012) is the top international fair of halal food products to be held in China. It aims to bridge global consumers, manufactures, investors, brands and technology to the Chinese manufacturers and consumers of halal food products. Supported by the partner organizations around the globe, the CIHFP2010 will serve as a China chapter and a good complement to the world leading halal trade fairs.
　　Today, China maintains a high growth of halal food consumption and production. A number of Chinese manufacturers of halal food and products have become big players with well-established brands and distribution system in the global halal market. However, thousands of Chinese halal manufacturers producing the most healthy and natural halal food on the highest land of the Earth are still unknown to the world. The increasing halal food consumption has not triggered a bigger share of foreign products in China yet. The public awareness of international brands needs to be improved among Chinese purchasers of halal food. The CIHFP will provide good sourcing and selling opportunities to international halal industry players and entrepreneurs.
　　The CIHFP2012 is hosted by the People’s Government of Qinghai Province and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and organized by CCPIT Qinghai Sub-Council in cooperation with CCPIT Trade & Investment Promotion Center. The event is supported by CCPIT partner organizations in China and around the world.
